Aviva is an M.Sc. student studying the molecular surveillance of marine pathogens with the goal of understanding disease dynamics in coral reef ecosystems. By combining her love for diving and the ocean with molecular methods, her work aims to contribute to early-warning systems for coral disease outbreaks and to support conservation strategies that strengthen reef resilience.
